On the Go? Get These Travel Blogs in Your Reader!
Every week, we read a lot. Part of it is our job – to stay up to date on travel industry trends so we can offer the latest news to our community. The other part is sheer curiosity! We’re lucky to work in an incredibly dynamic industry populated by some great voices. We wanted to take a minute and share some of these sources with you. They’re informative, have a great voice and you can always rely on them for the best news and insights whenever you’re looking to hit the road.
Fodor’s: Their blog is a haven for last-minute travel tips and insider guides to destinations across the globe…and the photography on the site? Amazing.
Travel and Leisure: Their Carry On travel blog will get you all around the world in under five minutes a day. Again, stunning photography and some of the most comprehensive destination guides available on the web – and all for free!
HomeAway’s blog community: We’re proud to work with HomeAway to help owners who list through Evolve get the broadest possible marketing exposure for their rentals. Their blog collection is top-notch, just like our partnership! You’ll find everything from exclusive insights on property management and owner tips to savvy, in-depth conversations between travelers. Definitely a must for the vacation rental traveler or homeowner.
Boarding Area (View from the Wing): Never be at a loss for the latest in frequent flier or other travel loyalty programs. Even if you love vacation rentals, we all still book hotels every now and then!
Vagabondish: You can’t have a complete RSS collection for the travel world if you skip Vagabondish. We love stopping by for their great digest-like reports on the latest in the travel world as well as the path-less-traveled approach to covering new and off-the-beaten-path destinations. You won’t be disappointed!
So, tell us what we missed. We can’t read everything and would love to hear from you about what we should be reading as vacation rental owners and/or before we hit the road again (and we’re sure our readers would love the tips, too!).
